Who is it for?
This course is designed for engineers, general construction workers, Artisans who have some knowledge in minor construction activities.
The aim of this course is to ensure participants are equipped with knowledge and skills in electrical wiring and installation activities. Trainees who complete the course will be registered under the Gil Training alumni and they will be able to work in construction industry, manufacturing industry and oil & gas.
At the end of the course trainees must be able to: Design and interpret electrical symbols and state their applications according to specification; Identify and explain the principles of operation of protective devices in electrical system; install metal conduit and trunking, Install PVC trunking complete with correct size, wirings, terminating at light fittings, switches, terminal block. They will also be taught to practice good electrical wiring installation while adhering to safety requirements in installation and maintenance of electrical system
